Welcome Back. The Revelations 2nd Age and Exodus of Genesys 3rd Age

We are very excited see everyone again and to share with you the next ages in The Genesys Project. The launch of the next two books takes us into a modern and post apocalyptic setting all the way into the far distant future with science fiction. There is a lot new happening in this launch with lots of freebies tied into stretch goals and so much more.
The Revelations of Genesys: 2nd Age takes you through modern conflicts and into the near future where the Apocalypse looms and warfare takes on a whole new meaning. Delve into customization of your modern/apocalyptic weapons, design your own vehicles of war, and fight your way through an Age where the catechisms of war loom at every corner.
The Exodus of Genesys: 3rd Age takes your faction into the distant future, expanding outwards into the abyss and new theaters of war. Cybernetics, mechs, robotics, and other mechanisms of conflict reign supreme. In the 3rd Age, customization advances far beyond the previous ages, with new energy sources for weapons, vehicles, and mechs bringing new dangers and revealing new horizons. Note: The Core Rules book is required to play the game.
Books and Other Physical Products Arriving

I want to thank everyone for the patience during the shipping issues that have been going on these past number of weeks, its been quite the challenge every step of the way. We are on the last steps of it though as your physical products, both books and accessories, should be arriving as soon as today in some places, and over the next few/several in others, starting in the UK, the US, and then outwards from there. So in Brazil, South Korea, or Australia I expect a few extra days. I will look forward to hearing of their arrivals.
So now is the time to be keeping an eye out for the delivery to your doors, as books are distributed throughout the world from multiple locations. Im very excited to get the products to you, so if you get the opportunity please share that they have arrived in the comments below and which country your in. (So I can further track where the books are arriving to follow up on distribution).
Don't forget that we already have a very active Forum for comments, questions, and even Faction builds as well as many videos on our Youtube Channel taking on several subjects from creating factions in every domain, to monsters of myth and legends, powers, weapons, and more.

Update on Kickstarter Distribution and Releases

I hope everyone is staying safe and secure under the strains of being under a lock down. The last few weeks have certainly been difficult for everyone, no matter where you are in the world. Above all else make certain you and your families are your number one priority as we look ever forward to getting through this and returning back to normal.
I want to thank all of you for your patience with the COVID 19 delays in getting the physical books and template products to everyone. This has been an obvious big hiccup in distribution with work furloughs on all ends of the spectrum along with other strains of the pandemic throwing up unexpected and additional barriers. I find myself staring at the screen with anxious frustration trying to find anything I can do to help mitigate the hurdles that I really have no control over.
Although distribution should of started several times now, I was updated earlier today that final distribution is under way this week and weekend. I will make certain I do another update as soon as I get confirmation the books are out and arriving at your doors.
Official Release of The Genesys Project: With these delays I have pushed back the official release of the game (for anyone not a backer, or have pre-ordered -like in backerkit) until I know books are beginning to arrive in your hands. I know some of you are waiting for the official release to happen so that you can order a physical/digital version or even templates/dice. I apologize for the delay in this and really look forward to making these available to you as soon as possible.
On the Genesys Games site Pre-Orders will be back up and available as soon (for pre-orders), shipping commencing after I have confirmation backers are receiving their books. I have been in direct contact with many of you through various channels and I am monitoring all of them. Whether it's through the Genesys Games site, Facebook, Kickstarter, Backerkit and the forums. I can be reached with a rather quick response time most hours.
What's being said about The Genesys Project: We have had some great comments from the released digital versions of the books. The community for the game is already turning out to be quite awesome. Here is what a few of you have said-

While Under "Stay at Home Orders": If you have not already done so, the Genesys Games site has a rather cool new forum set up that is now in regular use with factions, questions, and comments. There are also several new videos up on our Facebook page that delve into several different aspects of the game, from Creating your faction in the different domains, to other concepts like Creating Monsters and Forbidden Lore.
The 2nd and 3rd Age: I know many of you have been excited and been talking about the next releases with the 2nd and 3rd age books. While work is still currently being done on these and preparing them for a kickstarter launch this summer, there is no official date at this moment. This will change as the summer months approach (winter for south of the equator), and I will lock down a the dates in the near future.
Both books are still going to be part of the next Kickstarter release- The Revelations of Genesys - 2nd Age and the Exodus of Genesys- 3rd Age.
So work on the books is not on pause during the crisis, but it is taking a lot longer with less playtester interaction less available during the lockdowns. I so look forward to this changing and getting the testers back to the tables.

Distribution has begun

As we have talked about in previous updates distribution is beginning. Physical books, templates, quick play sheets are all being put together for distribution and I expect these to start arriving during the week. We are at the mercy of Covid 19 though, so please be patient as our distributors are doing everything to keep people safe as a number one priority. If there are additional hang ups I will keep you up to date. Thank you in advance for the patience, the books are beautiful and I cannot wait for you to get them.
In the meantime though, digital distribution will starting in the next few minutes. If you have digital products that do not arrive, please give me a heads up here with a quick message and I will dig into it. Digital delivery is being handled through backerkit and early backers will be getting direct email with their bonus Primitive Faction award.

Creating Factions 101 and 102 are up.

Creating Reptilia will go live Monday with Biest later in the week.
One last thing is that there will be links on the Gensys Games website to discuss faction building, and share your factions in a forum type setting. This will most likely go live tomorrow.

The Latest Distribution Updates, A Look Ahead + New Create a Faction Videos

Distribution is about to begin now over the next few days. Lets take a look at what that means.
First off it means that both our distributors will start packing and shipping shortly. However they are working with reduced staffing to maintain the safety of the people that will be packing your boxes and everyone around them plus will be following every protocol and social distancing required to keep everyone safe.
As soon as I get confirmation books have began to be distributed I will do another update so that everyone can be aware that packages are coming. This will be any day now from today thru Monday and the beginning of next week. As safety is a number one concern, please take appropriate precautions at all times. There is a distributor in the US for US and Canadian distribution and one in the UK for the UK, EU and rest of the world. I appreciate everyone's patience on this.
Digital Distribution- I have had several requests to push up digital distribution for everyone under "Shelter in Place" instructions". So of course! we are going to do that. That means that digital distribution will happen this weekend!
My concern has always been to get everyone their products as close together as possible. If you did not order a digital version of the Core Rules and Birth of Genesys I'm not going to leave you out waiting. I am going to be sending a code to you granting you Kickstarter pricing for the digital versions of the books this weekend. This will only be available for a short time.
The full online store will be up in April most likely the 2nd or 3rd week, but not until books are in our backers hands. This release date has been pushed back due to coronovirus set backs and shipping delays for backers. A tentative general release date is April 17th, but could be a week earlier if distribution is complete. That means your friends that did not get in on the Kickstarter would not be getting their books until the second half of April. Once the online stores open there will be a few products joining the store you have not seen yet, The Genesys Project Dice Sets, Cone/Flamer Templates, and the 1st Age Campaign book (digital release only with campaign rules- like Non Player Factions (NPF's) and More).
Please be patient over the next number of days as distribution gets started.
Once digital distribution is moving (this weekend), the Genesys Games site www.genesysgames.com will have Faction sheets for you to download for free, as well as a location to share your faction builds and questions directly with everyone else. We are going to create some fun and crazy builds in the days ahead!
